Everything you want to know
I deal with night sweats — won't silk just cling to my skin and feel damp and uncomfortable?
It's the opposite, actually — and it's the exact reason silk has been the choice of women who run hot for centuries. Perfect for women who sweat in their sleep or menopausal women, Mulberry silk is a natural protein fiber that breathes with your body, wicking moisture away from the skin rather than trapping it against you the way synthetic blends do. Our 19 momme weight is dense enough to feel substantial and luxurious, but light enough to stay cool and dry through the night — it regulates temperature rather than holding onto heat. Where cotton and polyester absorb moisture and stay wet against the skin, silk pulls it away and lets it evaporate, so you wake up feeling composed instead of clammy.
Will it actually make a difference to my skin?
Yes — and the difference is visible. Unlike cotton, silk doesn't absorb the moisture from your skin or pull your serums away from where they're working. Its naturally smooth surface creates almost no friction, which meansless creasing, less tugging, and skin that wakes up calmer. Most customers notice a difference within one to two weeks. It won't replace your skincare routine — but it will make it work harder.
How is this different to other silk sleepwear?
Most silk sleepwear chooses between looking beautiful and doing something for your skin. We didn't think that was a choice worth making. Our silk is selected for how it looks in light — the drape, the lustre, the way it moves— as well as for its skin and temperature-regulation benefits.
What makes mulberry silk different from regular silk?
Mulberry silk is the finest grade of silk — produced by silkworms fed exclusively on mulberry leaves, which results in longer, more uniform fibers and a smoother, more lustrous finish. Our 19 momme mulberry silk is what gives it that particular quality of light — the way it catches and moves. It's also what makes the skin benefits more pronounced: the smoother the fibre, the less friction against your skin. It's simply the best silk available.
Is the price worth it?
Think about cost-per-wear. You'll wear this every single night — that makes itone of the most used items you own. Most customers who hesitate at checkout tell us afterwards it's the purchase they're most glad they made. It's also the only thing in your wardrobe that's actively working for your skin while you wear it.
What size should I choose?
Silk drapes — it isn't meant to be fitted. Our sets are cut with a relaxed silhouette around the bust and slightly hugs the waist for an hourglass silhouette that moves with your body and looks intentional, not oversized. If you're between sizes, size down for a more polished fit or size up for that effortless, relaxed fit. Either works — it's a matter of preference. Our Sizing Chart has measurements if you want to be precise.
Are there any special care instructions to keep these silk pajamas looking their best?
To maintain their softness and sheen, hand wash or use a delicate cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Avoid bleach and tumble drying; instead, lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Proper care preserves the silk's luxurious feel and stretch over time.
Can I wear this as loungewear, not just to sleep in?
That's the point. Our sets are cut to be worn beyond the bedroom— the tailored silhouette and the quality of the fabric mean this works for slow Sunday mornings, working from home, or any part of the day that belongs to you. The Sunlit Silk collection in particular is designed to look as beautiful in daylight as it does by evening. Wear it whenever you like. There are no rules.
